How well do you know yourself? Are you self-aware? Do you feel you have a solid command of who you are, where you belong, where you are going and how will you get there?

The more you focus on your self-worth, your tools, your skills, your strengths and weaknesses your ability to assimilate and sense of self-discovery, the faster you will find success and true accomplishment. Recognize, within yourself just what you are trying to achieve in life and you can begin to reduce or better yet, eliminate any self-doubt and move things forward.

Are you self-motivated? Are you self-assured? Do you have self-awareness?

Clearly if you have these qualities, you also have a self-confidence to put yourself out there – front and center. Take ownership of what you do, how you do it and whom you do it for. This will elevate your self-esteem. People gravitate towards that, it is a leadership quality.

It’s important to recognize who you are, what your value is and not let it get to your head. Self-absorbed is not the message you want to present, nor is it something you want to convey to those that you work or socialize with. Keep that in check and show some self-discipline!!! Be ‘centered’ but DO NOT BE SELF-CENTERED.

Nobody wants to follow that.

Show some sense of humility and exhibit the good sense to be self-conscious and position yourself in a positive light. Be respectful and show some self-respect. Don’t be selfish – To be a true leader, you need to be a self-starter.
