Some things in life must be and need to be resisted. Maybe you don’t like certain foods so the best thing to do is – RESIST. Maybe you don’t enjoy the roller coaster, so again – RESIST. You get it – don’t you?

And then there are all the things that intimidate us, annoy us, irritate us, get on our nerves, aggravate the crap out of us, turn us off, piss us off, frighten us, worry us for whatever reason, and although we know the right thing to do is take the ‘plunge’, and confront them. Yet, we will do all we can; despite knowing we should take the risk, we avoid and RESIST. Apprehension is quite powerful. It can be paralyzing, and it can disable you in a heartbeat. And to a point that we have an auto-default to RESIST.

Our knee-jerk reaction sometimes needs to be challenged. If we don’t fight the RESIST, sometimes, in a simple word, we lose. The battle of RESIST will test your strength in many ways. Take the risk. Challenge yourself and take a chance. The possibilities can be extremely liberating and with rare exception, there is little to lose.

Uncertainty and RISK can open your door to POSSIBILITY, OPPORTUNITY, GROWTH and HOPE. So, when you are mirrored with problems and the obstacle of ‘life sometimes gets in the way’, take it on, stare it in the face and try not to give in and don’t RESIST.
