There are so many reasons to make us feel BLUE. Rejection must be high on that list. Rejection for the job we covet. Getting shut out from the party that we so wanted to be invited to, being blackballed from something that we wanted to be a part of, getting the brush-off from someone that we are interested in getting to know, getting the royal ‘snub’ from the group that we were hanging out with are some really good examples of REJECTION and any or all of these can easily make us feel BLUE.

Blue happens to be a beautiful color. The sky, the sea, your significant other’s eyes, tropical fish, flowers, sapphires, maybe your car, the reflection in the pool – The list can go on and on. But there are those days, for whatever reason you just feel BLUE. And when we do, it can be devastating to get the day moving. We can all define BLUE in different ways. It’s our own personal ‘thing’ and how you manage BLUE can and will determine what the day looks like. Maybe you measure it in a shade of BLUE. The density of your BLUE will play a role in the outcome. Are you blue or are you very blue?

I happen to love the color on the outside but on the inside, it can be a very different dynamic. It represents feelings and can impact your mood. Be mindful of your BLUE. Try and understand what sparks your BLUE. It typically represents something and should be addressed. The longer you let BLUE sit, the deeper the tone and the more difficult it will be to get out of your funk.

That said, remember there are almost always 2 sides to reckon with so think about how positive BLUE can be represented. History tells us BLUE can be symbolic of calm, spirituality, innocence, emotion, loyalty, purity, peace, and stability.

So, when the stuff hits the fan and you are feeling BLUE, stay in control, keep things in perspective, get your head around the reason(s) and take charge of your BLUE. Master and organize your BLUE.
