Get it done…..

When I take on a project, my 1st objective is to figure out how I am going to complete it. That takes some preliminary thought. What I like to do is visualize the project in its final form. Then, I take it apart, section-by-section, piece-by-piece and re-build it to meet my own expectations, or better yet to the standards my clients are accustomed to getting. Either way – getting it done is the driving force and meeting your goals with purpose and success is the ultimate achievement.

Some people don’t manage time and space well and ‘get it done’ is a real challenge. How can you overcome that and get better at finding an efficient way to get it done? Like all things, it takes practice.

No different than learning or improving any skill, it requires time and tolerance. Sometimes, like many, you need a good teacher or coach. Someone that has the ability to get inside your head, understand and identify your weakness and guide you on the road to the finish line.

That in of itself, can be a ‘get it done’ task. Use and maximize time efficiently. Learn how to use productivity tools and create a system within your comfort zone. Something that makes sense and something that you can work with. Keep it practical.

Common sense tells us, one step at a time. Easiest way to get there, is right foot – left foot.

No matter how much you try and cheat the process, you still have to get things in place in order to move forward. Cheating will just add more time and compromise quality. You want to get it done once and you want to get it done right.
