There will always be times in our lives when we feel like we’re going to CRASH. There’s no way around it. Whether you’re an adult or a young person, some days will suck. There can be a zillion reasons or only one, but at some point, we crash. And that’s OK. It’s part of life; it should be expected and dealt with. Recognize it for what it is….a bad day. Whatever drives us towards that crummy, lousy, rotten direction must be dealt with. We all have different coping mechanisms. Learn to take a step back, evaluate, and look for the best solution, the best path forward, and make a point to LEARN from the experience.

The altitude up there can always shift. When the elevation begins to drop, don’t let the ride control you. Step on the gas, grab the throttle, and manage the rise. Look for strategies to help regulate the difficulty. It works only when you take CONTROL. If you need support, lean on your resources. Be mindful that this is WORK, and it takes time and energy. Focus on the ‘moment’. Be a problem-solver. Embrace it for what it is – A chance, an opportunity to learn and become better, stronger, and a great way to elevate.
