How can we measure success? Is it as simple as winning, being the champion and proving that you are superior to someone else?

I don’t think so. I think the true measure is in the journey. The goals are always set in place. We find the starting point and then we push forward. Naturally, we want to win and achieve the ultimate and find success.

The true meaning of success is that ambitious voyage we take to get us to the final destination. The improvements, the changes, the way we modify our plan to accomplish what we set out to do……that’s where the triumph is.

Can we conquer the nonsense and the obstacles along the way? Can we overcome the interference, the distractions and the complications of day to day resistance?

If we are motivated enough to set goals, create a plan and set our sights on the target with purpose, then we have truly earned the right to celebrate. Finding success is the pay-off, but the intention and the execution is what we want noticed. That’s what earns you respect and that’s when you become the champion.

That’s the ‘brass ring’. See you next week.
