They sound so much alike and yet, they couldn’t be more different and further from one another – like day and night.

Despite that – they connect. Read on.

Objectives are something we should all have. They are goals. It can be self-induced pressure, but you set your self up to make changes within yourself and you try your hardest to move your life in that direction to set the mark. You have a target, you aim, you shoot and if you have your stuff together – BULLS EYE!!!

Objectives require passion. That’s what drives you to hit that sweet spot. It takes desire, ambition, and an intense point of view. Think about anything you have accomplished. Go deep into your memory bank. Think about what you accomplished when you were a kid, last week – yesterday…It all took time and real commitment.

That’s what makes it so rewarding.

Objectives are cool – especially when we complete the mission and get things done.

Objections….now, that’s something entirely different. It’s so negative. Carries the heft of doubt – Something that need’s approval. There’s a sense of reluctance that comes from objection. It smells of opposition and protest. Counters all things that OBJECTIVE stands for.

Objection is an expression of disapproval and a way to disagree, which can cause tension and conflict.

However, if you object to something – that requires the confidence to speak your mind and show your true feelings towards something that maybe you are passionate about.

That’s’ why they are like twins that don’t get along and don’t look at all the same – but still connected.
