It seems reasonable to assume that no matter what we do, we want a successful outcome. The outcome is the result, and often we are measured by that and that alone. Not saying it’s always fair or the best metric, but OUTCOME is important. It is, after all, the final product, the end game, the conclusion, and no matter what the process looks like, what we are all after is the outcome. With exception, nobody remembers the 1st day, the first hour, the first point, the beginning – What we all focus on is the conclusion. The process matters, but the final product is the focus. Did we achieve what we set out to do? We are assigned many things in life. We discover many things along the way. We have an idea, a concept that dances about in our head. How do we bring it along? How do we bring it to fruition? Did we accomplish our objective, and ultimately, was it a success? Hard work is the best way to manage outcomes. Never underestimate that. Everything takes time. We invest in others, we invest in resources, and we invest in ourselves. Nobody wants a low return on an investment.

It’s so important to understand that outcomes are the only things that matter in life. Its impact is stronger and more meaningful. Your journey towards achieving your goals can be fulfilling, but in the long run, it’s ultimately the end game, the result that determines whether what you did was worth it or not. Learning is often a net takeaway or an outcome. Building confidence is a byproduct of the process and it’s an outcome. Cultivate the right mindset, take the risk, dig in, and challenge yourself – What you get is friendly and favorable OUTCOMES.
