From time to time, I have combined words that add some heft to our already complicated language. However, to me and from your feedback, they seem to make sense and humor my audience.
Today I offer, process and assessment. PROCESSMENT.
They really work well together. It even sounds like a real word. I spend a great deal of my time assessing talent, clients and their needs. My job is to get inside their heads to make sure I target those needs accurately.
Trust me, it’s not easy. To assess is to evaluate and appraise. It’s more than just an opinion – it’s a judgment based on information and knowledge. Assess accurately and process well – you save time. That’s what everyone relies on. That’s where the trust comes from – your ability to do this seamlessly.
To process is to understand the actions and steps taken in order to achieve some end result.
Information is the key to understanding how to drive anything forward. Especially process. I often get incomplete information and I need to fill in the blanks. I investigate, look at procedures, try and understand the activities involved, get my head around the job, the responsibilities involved and tasks so I can recognize what the target is.
It’s a puzzle that needs to be assembled. I have become a master at PROCESSMENT.
