Everything in the universe needs time to stop, consider the status, make time to reflect, assess, observe data, make informed decisions to consider change, reappraise, and understand what follows. All walks of life are in the same boat. The difference is how we all perceive what we are doing, how it’s working (or not) and then how do we manage it. RECOVERY is necessary. Recovery allows us time to RECUPERATE, regain some strength, improve, and make progress. Recovery helps us recharge the body’s batteries.
RECOVEREY represents something personal and transformative. It allows us the opportunity to process and then manage CHANGE. Recovery is the journey that can take us from exhaustion, burn-out, work overload, issues at home or work or just having a need to look for some ‘me’ time. Whatever drives us, RECOVEREY will always play an important role in our success. Some people, and I know because that’s typically who I am, don’t like to sit still. Constant motion will get stuff done, but at what expense. RECOVERY allows for time to refuel. Recovery represents RESILIENCE. Recovery is the best medicine you can take. It can improve outcome. It will empower us to regain strength, control, build new skills and move forward with a fresh set of eyes. Listen to your body. Listen to your mind – They will always tell the truth and when they tell you to take the ‘chill pill’, it’s the message from within that says, please dial it down and make time to RECOVER.
