Building, creating, shaping, establishing a career path requires a steady and strategic plan. It’s the plan that puts things in motion. It’s the action you take that will make it happen. It’s a process and a process takes time. Learn to leverage your time productively and make it work on your behalf. Organize yourself and organize the data you collect as you explore and investigate the different choices in front of you. We all have choices but the best way to make a decision is with the information or data in front of you. This should help add clarity and make the approach towards your destination a little easier.

But always remember that what you decide today can change tomorrow and there is nothing wrong with that. Every experience should net out something meaningful, worthwhile and increase your ADDED VALUE. That’s the take away – more value.

Looking for a job, making a career change, producing a career pivot will, with rare exception, be challenging. Your role in this, how you manage the process will determine what the experience will look like. Be mindful of all the external noise. Learn to filter that and try to rely on what your heart is telling you. Follow your dreams. And above all, be cognizant that it’s the SMALL STROKES that add up and provide a full picture.
