I consider TIME to be one of the most important commodities we have. We live by TIME. We manage TIME and it manages us. What TIME is your appointment? What TIME does my class begin? What TIME is the train? What TIME does the show begin? What TIME do we need to be there? It goes on and on. We can ‘buy’ TIME, we can ‘waste’ TIME, we can ‘lose’ TIME and of course, if we aren’t on task, we can run out of TIME. I engage with so many people, and a common thread is “we never seem to have enough TIME”. It goes fast. It speeds up and just keeps moving. There is a lot to be said for 24/7.

TIME is ‘the measured or measurable period which an action, process, or condition exists or continues’. And, as important as it is to pay attention to the TIME, I think many of us just take it for granted.  Our lives, our days, our nights are all measured in and by TIME.

Today Is My Edge: Never take TIME for granted. Don’t minimize the value of TIME. Once it’s gone, we can never recover it. We can learn from it, but we cannot recover it. We cannot reclaim it. We cannot recapture it. Use it or lose it. If you use today well, you give yourself an advantage tomorrow.

Turn Ideas into Meaningful Experiences: Knowing, as your day begins you will need to consider how to manage the TIME and get stuff done!
