Yogi said, “If you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
Great advice for all of us, and if it were that easy we’d all do it.
However, the choice that lies in front of us is something that we need to consider.
Choice is a privilege. One that should not be taken for granted nor should you minimize the importance of variety. That fork represents opportunity and opportunity requires thinking, ability to process what’s in front of you and making good, smart decisions.
It is a skill in of itself to be able change directions. We plan, we map things out, we think, we re-think and we set a course to get us from one place to another and in a nano-second something happens to alter the itinerary.
It’s your ability to be adaptable and open-minded that determines which fork you take.
Experience can make this a smoother ride. Being qualified will help you determine which fork to take. Sometimes, you just go with your gut. Either way, the fork is in front of you and preference will take you where you need to and want to go.
Don’t settle – think about the fork in the road. It can make a significant impact on where you land.
Have a safe trip.
