In anything you pursue, hunt, chase, strive to accomplish, commit to, risk – No matter what you are doing, it will no doubt require some sort of exploration that can help you make good decisions. Before you jump into anything like a new job, a lateral move at work, a new relationship, the purchase of something significant, you want to collect the data and make a really good and INFORMED decision. That research is crucial and it’s an essential before taking the leap of faith.

It’s so easy to access information today. It’s all at our fingertips. A simple keyword search can open up a zillion doors to knowledge and opportunity. Read, process and learn. When you are engaging in conversation; same thing – Take it for what it’s meant to be and what it’s not meant to be. Listen, process and learn.

A skilled communicator is often a better listener. No need to ‘overthink’ but it’s important to pay attention to what’s not being said or provided. That’s the challenging part. Context and interpretation can push you of a cliff. If you learn to analyze and examine the in-between with common sense, you will find a nice safety net at the bottom of that cliff. If not – SPLAT!!!!!
