Again, represents many things. On top of the list is another chance. And following that, for me is, POSSIBILITY, PROSPECT and the quality of seeming reasonable or PROBABLE. A means of finding a moment to reboot, finding that point in time where you push yourself to look at the “do-over”. Admit you can do better, make a fresh start, recover and open your eyes to a new beginning. Human nature encompasses our capacity for reason, social connections and looking at ways to IMPROVE. Human Nature drives the universal experience we all share. Things like DESIRE, FEAR, LOVE, sense of self, our mental state, and our ability to EXPLORE and DISCOVER. What we look for is the opportunity for GROWTH. Can you really be honest with yourself and say, I failed. I need to/want to do better. I want another chance. I want to do it AGAIN, because I know I can do it better. I can push it to a higher standard. I can IMPROVE. I can EXCEED my own expectations. All I need is a shot at doing it again. When you stop and think about it, “again” really represents nothing more than a better OUTCOME and should net out, for all of us, A GAIN.
