Common phrase that we all use and abuse. As appropriate as it can be, we tend to minimize just how powerful these 4 words can be. We connect it to our professional, personal, educational and health all the time. It’s so overused that it’s almost meaningless and trite, but it really does have depth to it and should be considered for what it really represents. Something bad in our lives, with rare exception, can always be worse. I like and appreciate the context because it does shift perspective and can often make us realize just how fortunate we are. These 4 very important words helps us take hardship, misfortune, suffering, distress, and things that trouble us and help process and acknowledge things that could be challenging and find the way to lean on our SELF-RESILIENCE.
Mindset is a big part of, ‘can be worse’. How we manage adversity, is reliant on our mindset. We can’t ignore what’s wrong, but it’s better to focus and prioritize what’s right. Because it CAN ALWAYS BE WORSE.
