This is a word that needs to be recognized for all it can represent. We all have some special POWER. It’s essential that we identify it, acknowledge and accept it. There isn’t a certification. There isn’t a validation. There isn’t a testimonial. We have it or we don’t. Once you establish your SUPERPOWER, use it – Don’t abuse it. How can you find the intersection points between you and your power? How can you utilize it to make your life and the lives of your friends, family and colleagues better? If you can do that, you will be a HERO, a LEADER, a MANAGER, a SUPERVISOR, an INNOVATOR, an INFLUENCER, a TRAILBLAZER. You will be someone that we look to for advice, for help, for guidance, for direction, counsel and someone that can provide the right path forward.
Maybe it’s your sense of humor, your ability to listen, the way you carry yourself, the way you interact with others, your ability to make money, your potential, your expertise in something specific, your proficiency, your skills, your ability to make decisions, your resilience, your GRIT, your ability to remember names (I can’t do that one), common sense, your creativity – These are only some of the real-life superpowers. These are developed characteristics that enable us to be who (not what) we are. They are inner strengths. You decide what context they will serve you and your community best. But never minimize how powerful the POWER is.
