Every Fall, I get so inspired by the change in the weather, people’s ability to enjoy it and the recognition of what’s to follow…..Winter. But one step at a time. Don’t want to rush a good thing. The Fall is my favorite season. It represents so many wonderful things. Despite being the gateway to Winter, cold weather and eventually SPRING, my second favorite season, Fall is the time when the weather cools us off, helps us transition into cozy clothes, fireplaces, the World Series and taking in what Mother Nature does best – Doing what none of us can do.  She is in complete control, as it should be.

Watching the leaves change color and tone, drift away as they gently dance to the ground is always a sight to behold and respect. Nice to let change happen organically and enjoy it.

I often talk about change. It is something we need to manage because if we let it manage us, we are toast. Change can be difficult. But clinging to what was can sometimes be dangerous. Allowing Mama Nature to do her thing is very liberating. We don’t need to be involved other than sit back and enjoy her show. And what a show it is!

Never resist change. Embrace it, hold it, stare at it, consider it, accept it, process it, squeeze it, wrap your arms around it and see it for what it is; the entry point to what’s NEXT and no matter how prepared we think we are, NEXT will always have some uncertainty to it and that’s what can make change so exciting.
