Something we too often take for granted is TIME. It comes and goes. It passes by as quick as the blink of an eye. It’s the measurable period during which an action, process or condition exists or continues, and it’s finite.

We measure everything in TIME. How long will it take? Are we there yet? When’s your birthday? How long have you been married? When do you graduate? What time does the movie start? What time is the game? What time is the meeting?

We recognize the past, the present and the future in TIME. No matter what we want to think, it controls our lives.

The concept of TIME dates back approximately 14 billion years ago.

It’s been around a long…..TIME. Before we had clocks, we had nature, the seasons, the skies, the planets, and stars, but since man has existed, there was some way to calculate and measure TIME.

And as we have progressed in TIME, it now adds pressure to our daily schedules and our lives. We make a list of things that need to be done and we want to ensure that we check the boxes. It provides a great sense of satisfaction to complete that list. TIME MANAGEMENT or as some like to refer to it – multi-tasking. Either way, it’s all about setting your priorities. And if you don’t, it might cause you to have to work OVERTIME!

There are 1,440 minutes in a day. Sleep, work, leisure, and eating take up approximately 80-90% of that. Time is one of the most precious commodities we have.  We can learn from the past, we can enjoy the memories, we can cry from the past but once time does pass, we cannot recapture it. And that’s why it’s so important to cherish every one of those minutes. Embrace your day. Make it count. Make it worthwhile. Make it productive. Make it positive. Make it meaningful. And if you do, you will probably have a ‘good time.’
