Job Search Therapy is taking a life of it’s own. Although I had intentions of what I wanted to and needed to accomplish – both as a coach and a teacher, it is moving forward in a very organic way.

This characteristic has great appeal to me. Really enjoying it.

Teachers educate and coaches train or manage.

I am enjoying doing all of the above.

The role of teacher/coach creates, in of itself a student. That student is me.

As I meet new clients and make new industry friends, we share and exchange ideas about life, lifestyle, careers and how to keep the moving parts moving.

The added value for me is I am learning as I teach. The symmetry is very cool.

A client this week made reference to a bad experience at an interview. She was diagnosed incorrectly. The criteria for the job didn’t align well and she felt it was a waste of her time.

On the contrary, there is always a net take away. Just exposing yourself will help you understand more about who you are and how you present yourself. Great stuff to help you prepare for the next one.

This was not time wasted – it was time INVESTED.

See you next week.
